Swansea City vs Huddersfield Town Live

Swansea City vs. Huddersfield Town predictions for Saturday’s Premier League clash at Liberty Stadium. Swans struggling to escape the relegation zone early in the campaign. Read on for all our free predictions and betting tips.

Interestingly, the sides have last met in League One back in 2007/2008 where we’ve also seen two tight contests and away wins on both occasion, as Terriers bagged a 0-1 win at this ground in November 2007 but Swansea returned the favour with a 0-1 win in March 2008.

We’ll now go for a similarly tough clash and back a 1-1 draw in the correct score market this time around, backing our claims at a good-looking 6/1 with Ladbrokes.

Huddersfield Town travel to Wales for their Matchday 8 clash at Swansea City after the International break looking to bounce back after a tough streak and a 0-4 home loss to Tottenham Hotspur suffered in late September. They’ve been rather challenging and we’ll now stick our necks out for them to snatch at least a point at Liberty Stadium with Double Chance Draw or Away win at 4/5 with William Hill.

Terriers have been very challenging early in the campaign and although they’ve now seen a five-match winless streak across competitions, we do feel they can build on it. They’ve held Leicester City to a 1-1 draw in front of the home fans and managed a point in Burnley (0-0) ahead of their loss to the Spurs, and shutting them down will be a tough task.

Swansea have been in a similarly troubled spell of form and come into the fixture after suffering two consecutive losses in their last two outings, beaten by Watford (1-2) and West Ham United (1-0). Even more worrying than that is the fact their only league win came against struggling Crystal Palace (0-2) back in August, those being two of only three goals scored overall.
